What size tent do I need for an outdoor wedding?
Allow 10–12 square feet per guest for a seated dinner reception, and 15–18 square feet if you're including a dance floor and band or DJ setup. A 30×60 tent (1,800 sq ft) seats approximately 120–150 guests without a dance floor. A 40×80 tent (3,200 sq ft) seats 250–300 with a dance floor and full setup.
